ABOUT THE ARTIST
Identity and memory
explored through clay
Guy Hivroni is a ceramic sculptor whose practice centers on the paradox of presence and absence. He depicts garments stripped of their wearers — shirts, dresses, coats — objects that carry the weight of the bodies that once inhabited them.
Using traditional wheel-throwing and hand-construction, his work moves between the intimate and the universal, between private grief and collective memory.
